Information, Advice and Advocacy

Age Concern provides free, confidential and impartial information and advice to all people over the age of 50 in Warwickshire through the Pathways service.

Pathways Information and Advice Officers are trained to provide information on a vast range of topics from benefit entitlement to housing and home safety to long term care. General advice on how to deal with issues with utility companies, telesales calls and doorstep callers or simply find a tradesperson is also available.

The Pathways advocacy service aims to support, act and speak up for older people, to ensure that they are listened to, and can get access to the services they need.

A trained advocate could work with you to help in a range of ways, including, support with housing issues, meetings, assessments or reviews as well as with letter writing and telephone calls.
